周末这两天半基本就没看啥片，郁闷！本来打算把数字图像处理的首次作业轻松搞定的，结果发现实际编起程序来，远比想像中复杂，特别是用C++......话说本科是也编过不少程序了，但是由于数据结构老师对Java的偏爱，C++的实践经验实在少得可怜。本想弄个小Windows应用程序，实现一下图像的快速傅立叶变换，结果光BMP图像的结构、如何读取并显示、如何转化为二维矩阵形式就搞得偶焦头烂额，更不要提FFT了。不过忙活半天也没白忙，做了就有收获，感觉上终于对MFC有了一定整体架构上的认识，不错不错。看来这学期可以好好提升一下编程水平了，努力中......

 

 

BTW：昨晚F1我还是抽空看了的，莱科宁太帅了，最后一位发车，但仍然能上领奖台！可见，如果赛车没问题，他将是每站比赛冠军的最有力争夺者之一。

 

另外，国安球衣的主色变成白色了......不习惯啊。

太郁闷了，我怎么选的课呀？！居然周二到周六每天都要上闹钟早起，这不要我命嘛！星期二一天垃圾课...无聊。星期四一天的课下来估计是会死人的，怎么都觉得像是天书课！好在小波分析只是导师让我去听听，我也不打算要这个学分...剩下几天的课都看起来还可以，不知上起来如何？

 

前几天看了份长长的文档，MIT AI实验室David Chapman 1988年9月写的，写给研究生的，主要从几个方面讲了一下如何做研究。受益匪浅，相见恨晚，好文！虽然时间比较久了，但仍十分有借鉴意义，其观点方法一点也不过时。推荐大家找来看看，网上很容易找到的。

星期二最后一门，马上就要解脱了，期待中......（8过，考过得还不知道过没过呢，从来没考得这么心虚过）

 

寒假还有一篇论文、一个Project、一个take home exam（Pattern Recognition，超难呀，3道中文题，4道英文题，看都看不懂...），不过计划每天还是要坚持打篮球去，否则身体要彻底废了，等暑假Danny和kakalee回来必然被虐死！

 

新年就是这样开始了......

Don’t walk into the erroneous zones of being success

Success——What a beautiful words! As we all know, in contemporary society, every people are eager for success. At the same time, our society are also become more and more fond of publicize success. When you roam in a bookstore, you will find that there are all sorts of books about how to make success. From the essential factors of success to biographies of famous people, the contents seem cover and contain everything of success. Nowadays, even when you read newspaper or magazine, you will often find the story such as how a young farmer from small village finally becomes a manager of a company. All these are trying to tell people, success is just around us, everyone have the opportunity to catch it. However, in the final analysis, being successful is not easy. And if you believe some of those books talking, you may walk into some erroneous zones

 

First of all, in most of people’s eyes, success means wealth, status which can bring them a luxury material life, and this exactly explain why the biographies of famous people especially the rich and powerful ones are so popular. But in actually, all these things are only the by-products of success, not the primary goal. In any period of the history, there are always some people standing on the summit of the society, they have power and fortune, but they are minorities eventually. Maybe they are successful in some kind of significance, but does it mean other people could not be happy and make their own success? Absolutely no. To a grown up person, comparing to the external things such as money and status, the most important fortune should be the enrichment of innermost feelings and self confidence. This happy feeling comes from doing whatever you want to do, staying with the people who you like to be with, and living the life which is perfect for you. One person who feels his own power and has a look inside his inner world of heart by making his great efforts will finally enjoy happiness and sense of achievement.

 

Secondly, lots of people believe that success must depend on oneself. But the fact is, in modern society, although improving oneself is very important, it’s not enough to make success. The way lead to success often need to go through with others. Nowadays, cooperation and team work are necessary factors to make success. Only when you are good at cooperating with other peoples, you can get support from them and draw inspiration from the communications with each other. Moreover, there’s no doubt that this kind of good organization will contribute to the individual’s growing up and make it easier to succeed.

 

Last but not least, as we know, being diligent is one of the most important factors of being successful, but it is under the condition that this hardworking is used in the proper place and by the right way. In other words, the key to success is spending your time and energy in doing the right thing. If you waste a lot of energy on something which has no help to your success, you may go further and further from the success. Therefore, don’t be so hasty; having a break and thinking about the direction and aim will be very helpful.

 

In a word, when people pursue the success, we often walk into some erroneous zones. It is not horrible, provided we can realize it clearly and learn some things from our faults. In the end, we will finally find the success which really belongs to ourselves.

开学典礼结束了，新宿舍也还不错，楼旁还有个停车场，这下方便了，呵呵。
